11/19/2023 0 Comments Asus predator priceLike how well does a company respond to warranty related stuff? A while ago I had found a Quora post in which a guy explained that you have to look at not only how much a laptop is prone to breaking, but also where it breaks and whether the company responds well to it.Ī (frequently) malfunctioning/broken motherboard is harder to repair than a hinge or keyboard key. For example I believe a certain build-year of the ASUS TUF models had bad thermals (don't remember which one), but later models didn't have this problem. On this sub you'll find a good amount of info. It's best to just look at honest opinions of people on forums and such to judge which laptop might be the best for your needs. Not just brands, but specific models of brands. My recommendation is to look at asus and msi.they make the best products without being a*holes with their pricing like alienware does (alienware are great performers, good overall quality, but expensive af).Īnother option would be the hp (omen or vicuts).they look to be better than acer, competitive pricing and overall decent products. then is when msi came to the market hard and had some awesome products (they still have). some years ago they started to cut costs here and there and they started to loose market share. I use (and had used) asus laptops (currently an flow x13) and they kinda give a damn about their products because they need to stay on top and relevant. I have not used an legion gaming laptop.but their business oriented stuff is under dell for example as quality (not materials, but optimization, stability.r&d.bla.bla.) ![]() this result in bad thermals, bad power management, lower quality plastics.you get the idea. I think the acer is the cheapest.think about how can they sell a product at a lower price than the others? by cutting the cost, mostly in the r&d department. If you will be gaming, what are the most demanding games you will play and at what settings?
